Visit studio of Zoe Fry.

Artist Zoe Fry lives and works in Marin County, California.

Zoe is an Installation and Social Practice artist and founder of The Introverts Collective. She is passionate about art that engages community around social issues in a way that is beneficial, healing and generates ownership through hands on participation. The most recent project for the Collective, FIRE, is a grove of fire ravaged Manzanita trees from the Glass Fire. Using a hardening process the surface of the charcoal is stabalized. The whole installation is illuminated by paper lanterns in the form of cocoons. Accompanying the grove is an altar with book of 2d art and writing about humanities relationship to fire. Submission for book is still open. Zoe and The Introverts Collective look forward to finding the next installation space for the FIRE installation. In the meantime we are exploring making singular light sculptures combining Manzanita trees and paper lantern together. We will have photos of those soon and are interested in making custom pieces. Studio visits to explore our materials and progress are welcome.  https://www.instagram.com/zoefry.arts/
