Art Visit with Susan Tibbon.
Artist Susan Tibbon lives and works in San Francisco, California.
Susan Tibbon was born in New York City and raised in San Francisco, and has been making images for 50 years in oil, watercolor, and print. She received her B.F.A. from the San Francisco Art Institute. A printmaker and painter with an abiding interest in the natural world, she spent two decades on an intaglio series of vegetables — one for each letter of the alphabet — developed plein air on her small organic, biodynamic farm in Mendocino County. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Library of Congress and the University of California at Santa Cruz, and has been shown at the de Young Museum and the Palace of the Legion of Honor.
Come visit Susan in her atelier studio and showroom at 2720 16th Street in San Francisco to see the work up close.
